Outreach Committee Report - December 2004
This is a call for everyone who would like to be involved on the
Outreach Steering Committee in 2005 and 2006. Steve Karbowski (note
the change from Tim Nuse) and I will be co-chairing the committee
and would appreciate your involvement.
The Outreach Steering Committee will be responsible for:
• Defining what Outreach means for the 34th District for the
2005 and 2006 election cycle
• Working with the E-board to define short term and long term
goals for 34th District?s Outreach Activities
• Determining an effective strategy for outreach.
• Presenting the strategy to at least the E-board and anyone
else they see fit.
• Effectively Implementing the strategy
• Working with other 34th District Dem committees to make sure
there is no overlap or repeated efforts.
We are anticipating that the Outreach Steering Committee will be
a 3-4 hour time commitment per month.
Our first meeting is January 6th from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beveridge
Place Pub (at the junction of Morgan and California).
If you want to participate, please let me know. If you are unable
to attend the meeting, but would like to participate on the Steering
Committee, please let me know and we will make sure you are included
in determining the next meeting time.
As for others who want to participate on a project basis, there
will be plenty of opportunities both large and small.
Steve and I are very excited about this and hope that you will
be able to help.
