Official Results, 34th Legislative District Caucus
These are the official results of the 34th District Legislative District Caucus held on
Saturday, April 5, 2008. Official results will be announced at the regular district meeting of April 9th. . For general caucus news and information go here.

General The Caucus was convened by 34th District Democrats' Chair Ivan Weiss at about 10:15 AM at West Seattle High School. King County Councilmember Dow Constantine was elected permanent chair.
Credentials Committee Report
Credentials Committee Chair Walter Sive gave both preliminary and final reports of delegates attending the caucus. A total of 999 delegates and alternates were seated. For Democratic Party Nominee for President of the United States, Hillary Clinton was supported by 258 delegates or 25.8%. Barack Obama was supported by 741 delegates or 74.2%. Therefore Clinton was allocated 13 delegates and 7 alternates to the Congressional District caucuses and State Convention. Obama was allocated 38 delegates and 19 alternates. Sub-Caucuses Patricia McInturff spoke in favor of the candidacy of Hillary Clinton. Tim Nuse spoke in favor of the candidacy of Barack Obama. The assembly broke into four sub-caucuses by Congressional District and candidate to elect delegates. Names of delegates elected and vote totals are here (PDF) and the names and positions are listed below.
