Our annual Garden Party and Auction is this Friday - 6:00 PM at West Seattle Nursery, 5275 California Ave. SW. This is our major fund-raiser of
the year and we still could use high quality auction items. Bob Watt is our auctioneer.
Food will be provided by Gaye Anderson of the New Orleans Creole Restaurant.

There is no regular meeting of the 34th District Democrats in August, but there is a
newsletter! Download it on the newsletter page or watch for it in your mailbox. The
E-Board will still meet on the 15th at Puget Ridge Co-Housing.

• On August 4th, at 9:00 AM at Seattle University, Washington Community Action Network is organizing a March on Regence Blue Shield for their unfair rate increases.

Tue, August 7, 2007 White Center Voter Registration
• The National Night Out will be a community event where residents
are invited come and celebrate with music, food, and public safety education.
I think having voter registration available as well would be very appropriate.
The date of the event is August 7th from 7:00PM-9:00PM.
• It will take place at 17th and Roxbury in the Schucks parking lot.
