Please contact our King County Committeewoman, Ann Martin, via e-mail or by phone at 935-4693 to talk about this, by April 14th.

Agreement to Cooperate on North Highline Annexation!
King County, Burien, and Seattle have launched a cooperative effort to achieve annexation of the entire unincorporated North Highline community by one or both of the cities. In a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed by King County Executive Ron Sims, Mayor Greg Nickels of Seattle, and Burien Interim City Manager David Cline, the jurisdictions agreed that it is in their joint interest, and the interest of the public, to work with residents to resolve the annexation issue, which has already been studied by residents and the adjacent cities for nearly a decade. Read the press release from County Executive Ron Sims - our County Councilmember Dow Constantine and Burien City Councilmember Jack Block (a 34th member) are quoted. Read all about annexation on the King County website.
