Auction Items Needed!
We are definitely in need of donated auction items!
An auction is only as successful as the great stuff we can sell.
Do you have items to donate or do you know business owners or other
folks with Democratic leanings who might donate to our worthy cause? You can download an auction item donation form in either editable Word document format or printable PDF.
Some items that have sold well in the past include:
Meals or activities with politicians
Food and meals - whether at a restaurant or your home-cooking
Vacation cabins or getaways
Recreational activities like kayaking or sailboat trips
Services like dog sitting, dog training and yard work
Picture framing services
Just a note, right now we have very few items for the silent auction.
Services like massage and dog sitting are appropriate for the silent auction,
as are restaurant certificates, car detailing and physical items like jewelry.
Contact Bruce Stotler (937-4783) or Maggie Larrick (246-2126 or 246-0088) if you
have an item you would like to donate.
Volunteer!
Volunteers are needed for the numerous tasks that are part of putting on
a bash like this, including:
Keeping the beer keg operating properly (this could be THE most important volunteer role)
Serving wine
Set-up for the party
Signing people in
Cashiering
Serving as a table captain for the silent auction
Serving as a runner for the auctions
Contact Maggie Larrick (246-2126 or 246-0088) if you can help.
