The state party chair, Tina Podlowski has shared that the 30-day public comment period has begun on the decision/choice to utilize either a caucus or a primary for Presidential delegate allocation. Please take a moment to share your opinion on the public comment site. The more input, the better! Note that folks who wish to become national delegates to the national convention will still need to go thru a caucus process.
The State Committee will vote to decide which path the Party takes at our April 7th meeting in Pasco. Legislation that enables us to even consider use of a primary has passed both the State Senate and the State House and is awaiting the Governor’s signature (that should happen in the next day or two).
